State Rep. Joe Dorman, D-Rush Springs, will explore a run for governor.State Rep. Joe Dorman, D-Rush Springs, will explore a run for governor.

Rep. Joe Dorman, a Democrat from Rush Springs, filed paperwork with the Oklahoma Ethics Commission creating an exploratory committee for a gubernatorial campaign. Dorman said the committee would be chaired by retired U.S. Army Maj. Ed Pulido. Dorman, 43, is the first well-known Democrat to announce a bid against incumbent Republican Gov. Mary Fallin.

  1. Thank God. Oklahoma doe’snt deserve the ALEC/GOP/Mary Fallin government we have in OKC. Tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy yet no money to educate or protect out kids for storms. This should be a wake up call for Oklahoman’s where the priorty’s lie with the Oklahoma Republican party.
