Voting Democrat 2016

I will vote Democratic in 2016, doesn’t matter who the Democrats nominate. I hope it will be Hillary but it doesn’t matter to me. I will not vote for a Republican. They are disrespectful and bigoted. They all know that Rudy Giuliani is a racist and a bigot for saying our president doesn’t love this country. They know he is wrong when he claims our president was brought up on communism. They know what Giuliani is saying is bigoted, but they are dishonorable simply by their silence. Only Marco Rubio has had the guts to stand up and say he believes Obama loves this country. While I don’t agree with most of what Rubio spews forth I applaud him for his integrity.

They can disagree with the Affordable Care Act and dis it and vote against it, even in the face of the fact that most of the nation now say they like Obamacare and 23,000,000 million Americans now have affordable health insurance. They can disagree with his stance on immigration while not offering one bill or a different path to immigration reform that over 90% of our nation’s citizens believe we need to fix. They can disagree with him on his handling of ISIS. They can disagree with him on his handling of economic recovery, even though 11,000,000 jobs have been created since he came into office and unemployment is down to less than 6%. They can dis him for bailing out the auto industry even though the auto industry is now the world’s leading manufacturer of new cars and all of the bail out money has been paid back to the government with interest.

They can disagree on all of that, even though most of the public is in agreement with him on all of those things. But when they question is patriotism or his love of this country they must be called out for the racists and bigots they are. No president in the history of this nation, not even Warren G. Harding nor Andrew Johnson, nor U.S. Grant ever were disrespected in any manner as has Barack Obama been. And his only crime is that he is half Black and he was elected by a clear majority – twice.

If you vote for Rudy Giulani, Scott Walker, Bobby Jindal or any of the other candidates in the field of the GOP, including Jeb Bush you are voting for dishonorable men. Men whose hatred and bigotry is so palatable that they will remain silent when our president is accused of not loving this country. This is simply not American and any of these clowns who won’t speak up and speak out against the drivel being spewed out of the mouth Rudy Giuliani are simply not honorable men. They know the truth and if they will not say it then they DO NOT DESERVE any consideration to hold the highest office in this land.

When you are elected president it is because you are honorable and because you love your country and its people. Barack Obama may not be perfect and yes he has made mistakes and yes there are things he has done that I disagree with. But for anyone to say he does not love America and its people is wrong on so many levels. The office of president carries with it the necessity of integrity. But to remain silent on this issue is to show a lack of integrity that in my opinion would disqualify Scott Walker, Jeb Bush, Rudy Giuliani, Bobby Jindal, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz from being president.

We elect politicians to the office. They play politics while in office and sometimes with the office. That’s part of our political makeup. They do things that aren’t always the right thing to do. Our presidents are politicians that’s how they get elected to office. Some presidents have been better than others. Some have been worse than others. But they have all respected the office.

A lot of presidential candidates come and go. Some are good some are not. But the one thing they have always had in common, whether they agreed with the sitting president or not was respect for the man and respect for the office. We now have a cult of GOP candidates who have no respect for the office of president, they have no respect for the president and by those things they have shown that they have no respect for the citizens of this nation.

They have stooped to the lowest denominator possible. Their silence speaks volumes on their honesty and integrity. It plainly says that they have none!

  1. I totally agree with your sentiment, and today’s crop of GOP’ers is the lowest of the low when it comes to integrity and morality. But if you will do some research, you will find that this behavior towards a sitting president is indeed pretty common throughout our history. A great deal of the abuse towards Obama is racist based, disguised at politicking, but he is enduring no more abuse than many of his predecessors.

BTW: I will also vote democratic, but I do sincerely hope it is anybody but Hillary. Contrary to her image, she truly is a Democrat In Name Only. Her personal greed is no less than any of our current crop of poorly behaving CEO’s. Think Keystone, and why she has not spoken out against it.
